This is a true Sea Trout Roe, produced by coldwater Rainbow Trout raised in Denmark. Trout Roe are petite in size when compared to Salmon roe, however it has the same bright, vibrant translucent golden orange color. Expect a firm texture with a satisfying pop that is very flavorful but milder than salmon. You can use Trout Roe to garnish, enhance sushi or simply enjoy with blinis.
